This policy explains how Purnell collects, uses, and shares personal information when you visit purnellgear.com, shop with us, sign up for emails, submit a review, or contact our team. It also explains how to ask questions and exercise your privacy choices.
Information we collect.
- Information you give us: your name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping addresses, order and payment information, account details, and messages or other information you choose to send us.
- Shopping and service information: products purchased, returns and exchanges, customer-service requests, reviews, and marketing preferences.

- Information from providers: payment confirmations, delivery updates, return information, and advertising or analytics information from companies that help operate and market our store.
How we use information.
We use information to process and deliver orders, take payments, handle returns and exchanges, provide customer support, display reviews, and maintain our website. We also use it to understand shopping activity, improve our products and services, send marketing communications subject to your choices and applicable law, measure advertising, and show relevant advertisements. Other uses include preventing fraud, protecting our business and customers, maintaining business records, and meeting legal obligations.
Who receives information.
We work with providers that help run our business, including Shopify for our store, Campaign Monitor for email marketing, Loop for returns and exchanges, and Yotpo for product reviews. Payment providers, shipping carriers, and other operational providers also receive information needed for their services.
Our advertising connections include Google, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), and Pinterest. These partners may receive identifiers and information about browsing, shopping, and purchases to measure campaigns and deliver advertising. Advertising-related disclosures can qualify as a “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising” under certain privacy laws, even without payment for a customer list.
We do not sell or rent our customer mailing list to other businesses for their own marketing. This is separate from the service-provider and advertising-related disclosures described above.
We may also disclose information with your direction, to comply with law or valid legal requests, to protect rights and security, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or transfer of business assets.
Our relationship with Shopify.
Shopify hosts our store and processes information about visits and purchases. We use Shopify Network Intelligence, which supports features using information from your interactions with our store, other merchants, and Shopify, including advertising and personalization. Information may be processed by Shopify and other providers in the United States or other countries.

Cookies, advertising, and your choices.
Cookies and similar technologies help operate the store, remember preferences, understand visits, and support advertising. Browser settings can block or delete cookies, although some store features may be affected.

Where required, a recognized Global Privacy Control signal is treated as an opt-out for the browser and device sending it. Choices may need to be repeated on another browser or device. Ordinary “Do Not Track” settings are different from Global Privacy Control.
To stop promotional emails, use the unsubscribe link in an email or contact us. Unsubscribing does not stop necessary messages about orders, returns, or other services you request.
Access, correction, and other privacy requests.
Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information; opt out of certain advertising or sharing; or withdraw consent. Rights can be subject to exceptions, including information needed for legal obligations or transactions.

If you wish to appeal our response where an appeal right applies, contact the same address with “Privacy appeal” in the subject line. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.

Retention needs vary by information type and purpose, including handling orders and returns, maintaining tax and transaction records, resolving disputes, and preventing fraud. Contact us with questions about your information or to request deletion, subject to applicable exceptions. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure; please do not send payment-card details by email.
Children’s information.
Our store is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and address it. Please do not submit children’s personal information through reviews or customer-service messages.

Other websites and services have their own privacy policies. Information you choose to include in a public product review may be visible to others; avoid including private contact or payment details.
