A classic corduroy shirt jacket is useful on a much less heroic schedule: coffee, work, picking something up, heading back out because you forgot something. This one goes over your usual shirt and gets along with jeans or twill pants.

The heavyweight corduroy is washed and softened, with a little stretch so it moves with you. Plaid fleece lining adds warmth, snaps keep things simple, and an interior chest pocket gives you somewhere to put the thing you’ll later insist you’ve lost.
